I was in the grocery store yesterday and a sparrow flew in the front doors and landed right at my feet at the register where I was checking out. It wouldn't move until some people that worked there came and tried to pick it up, it let them, then flew away once outside. Creepy! My question is, aren't sparrows pretty much always bad luck?

It used to be death until 1975.250 million cows wander the streets and villages of India freely.India has old-age homes for cows, where they are housed, fed, and cared for on the government dole. The hindus believe that inside each cow live 330 million Gods
and Goddesses. They say that if you kill a cow, you will be punished after death by falling down 86 transmigrations, and
start at the bottom again as the devil.
Actually, the devil in our mythology has hoofs and horns because
of the ancient hindis(Aryan Nomads). All gods to them were cows,
and the devil was an evil cow. Later, Europeans made the devil more human, but even now we draw him with cloven hoofs and horns. And the good Gods were cows too. Baal, the calf, was what the isrealites were worshiping when Moses got pissed.
Baal's birthday was celebrated on Dec.25, as the Jews thought
the Sun was Baal incarnate, and celebrated the solstice accordingly. The religion was known as Mithraic.

now i must emphasise that i dont believe in the supernatural, but..... last weekend i went fishing on my own to a nearby lake set in the grounds of an old stately home, i had been there all day with not so much as a bite when all of a sudden my rod bent round and my reel started screeming, i striked and hit into a huge fish, after about twenty minutes i managed to land it and put it on the bank, i was just about to take a photo of my catch, when suddenly before my eyes it faded and completly dissapeared, what i want to know is did i catch a ghost carp...

I have been over on the Religious and Spirituality section and there is a lot of Pagan and Non-Christian bashing that goes on. They ask a lot of questions that really need good answers but there are so many of the Christians on that site that it's hard to get a word in edge ways. My question is why since they seem to never have a lack of ppl and tons of questions to ask and apparently never sleep, why is it that Pagans don't participate in a religious forum and why are things so dead over here with many less questions? Just asking.

Ever wonder about that? A perfectly normal man accidently gets bitten by a vampire the required number of times and dies. Then comes back to life .as a vampire (the undead, even though he's alive and living). People would declare him to be illegal as he can't prove who he is and where he's from. Can't use his old ID as it would declare him dead! (To make it more interesting, we know vampires don't exist). Those who work in blood banks are vampires in real life as they drain your blood from you. That's the closest thing to a real life vampire!

If God is omniscient, why did He flood the world? Didn't he already know that the people were going to be bad? Why would he create a world just to destroy it? If He's perfect, why make a world just to destroy it for its imperfections? And plus, if God knows everything, why does he punish people? Doesn't he already know you're going to sin before you even know it? And if God's love is unconditional, why must you be a Christian to get to Heaven. Isn't that conditional love? I believe in God, and I'm a Christian...but I have lots of questions people never can answer...I think we should ask ourselves questions...if God didn't want us to ask questions, he would've made us perfect......

There is a woman Hilka that my dad worked for, (hes a carpenter). they were really good friends, she gave us 3 paintings, 1 is one of my house, 1 is of a very pale boy with white hair climbing a branch in the dark, and the other one is amazing, its a white puffy cloud on the left and a dark cloud on the right, with a liittle boy playing the fiddle in the middle, and in the clouds you can see what looks like a native, an angle,. about 4 small angle like bodies standing, sails, and a castle with a horse man riding to it. and we bought one from her and its a forest, with unicorns drinking from a stream. i'm pretty sure there is a few things in the forest, but you'd have to look for yourself. and i went to her house, way out in the boonies and very seemed very artistic and honest. she has a whole bunch of sculptures outside and it looks really beautiful, she said she seen a few elves crossing the road. oh and she had a picture of her feeding a bear, that comes right up to her.
