I've had past-life experiences that indicate I have been
in possession of and helped to guard an artifact like the
Rosetta Stone, which had a story on it in 3 languages,
and helped to translate Egyptian hieroglyphics.

I don't know why so many people can't answer this question!!! It's just bloody obvious!
It's the egg. Here's my idea:
1. You have a form of bird that has the genes of the Chicken's predecessors, but it's not quite chicken yet.
2. Over time as this breed of bird reproduces, it's genetic code changes, gradually coming close to that of a modern day chicken.
3. Eventually we have a bird that genetically can be described as being 99.999999999999% chicken.
4. The bird lays an egg, and out pops a bird that can now be scientifically described as a chicken.

Any arguments?

I received the following insight in my email today:

WHAT HAPPENS TODAY COULD IMPACT THE REST OF THE YEAR. HERE ARE A FEW NEW YEAR’S SUPERSTITIONS:

When you wake up, toss your right shoe into the air. If it lands on the sole, it means you’ll get married this year.

Eating black-eyed peas will bring you luck; eating cabbage will bring you money. And don’t pay the bills, or you’ll be paying them out all year.

Make lots of noise at midnight to ward off evil spirits.

Good luck will be ensured for the year by draining the last bottle of alcohol in the house (assuming you didn’t do that last night).

My mother's father was very old and sickly. He was admitted to the hospital as his body was already failing him. While waiting for him for a few consecutive days and nights, my mother fell asleep and had this strange dream of her father telling her to go home and that it is all over...My mother felt this very strong undesrcibable presence with her when she awoke and shortly afterwards the nurses told her that her father had passed away...

Few months before my grandfather's death, my mother was doing some part-time job while schooling and had not much time with her father... But she suddenly had this feeling that she should spent time with her father and thus quited her job to do so...

True story from my mother as she wouldnt and has no reason to lie to me... I would like to know whether there are others with similar experience... Thanks a lot...

Somebody told me that I would have bad luck for the whole year if I didn't take down our Christmas Tree before the New Year began. Is this true? If so, then I'm screwed!

For example if you're in a certain place or have money in your pocket. Things of that sort. I mean last year a week before New Years I was visitng Houston TX with my pregnant wife and we ended up moving to Houston with no previous intention of doing so.

It supposed is to allow all of the previous years bad luck out and let in good luck for the coming year. Don't know if there's anything to it or not but i always do it. About 5 til i open a window and close it at 5 after. Only once in 20 years did i sleep through and not follow through with it and i swear that year i had a heart attack, i lost my job because of a plant closure and someone broke into my house.
