Science becomes a curse when man began to boost himself of the scientific development and he began to separate his religion and science in his life. Generally if we look at our life we need some kind of external control factor to run our life. We need a well laid road with defined boundaries to ride our cars to the destination. We need police patrols in highways to watch for any dangers. Likewise man's mind also needs an external control element which can be possible only in the name of religion. Otherwise each will do what is right for him. Whole world will become like a jungle. "Survival of the Fittest". Another example is the Nuclear Bombs issue now at present the Scientific World is facing. USA is having more than 2000 bombs.Russia 750 UK is having 400, France 200, China 100, India 10 Pakistan 5 Israel 30. Still they have a Non-Proliferation Treaty existing to fool ourselves. Most of today's sceintific advancement in Communication & other fields were results of Military Research & development. Even Internet is a proof for this. So science is becoming a curse now.

What if neither of them is both a boon or a curse and once you position them mutually to make one component "technology and Techology" then inspite of that component is is neither a boon nor a curse? i imagine your perfect danger of 'proving' any of your hypotheses is to get the human beings on some reality television practice to communicate it for per week then have a telephone-in vote. very best of success - Mike

Knowledge (Gyan) is never curse , it is the mind set of the user which converts it to boon or curse.

Good question. I say a boon; a good scientist knows what can be explained and what cannot, and doesn't attempt to explain away that which cannot.

Both. For those who love it, it means progress, for those who are more spiritual, it may mean the explanation of things better left to belief.
