There is a woman Hilka that my dad worked for, (hes a carpenter). they were really good friends, she gave us 3 paintings, 1 is one of my house, 1 is of a very pale boy with white hair climbing a branch in the dark, and the other one is amazing, its a white puffy cloud on the left and a dark cloud on the right, with a liittle boy playing the fiddle in the middle, and in the clouds you can see what looks like a native, an angle,. about 4 small angle like bodies standing, sails, and a castle with a horse man riding to it. and we bought one from her and its a forest, with unicorns drinking from a stream. i'm pretty sure there is a few things in the forest, but you'd have to look for yourself. and i went to her house, way out in the boonies and very seemed very artistic and honest. she has a whole bunch of sculptures outside and it looks really beautiful, she said she seen a few elves crossing the road. oh and she had a picture of her feeding a bear, that comes right up to her.

I do not believe 'accidental' is the word you want. :) She may not be consciously including these mythical creatures and beings. She is no doubt open to that creative force that moves our consciousness out of the way so that our spirit can truly create.
I call it 'being in the ZONE.' :)

Art is hard to define. There are no qualifications for being an artist. There are many artists that become great artists after they die. It is the art that is created that makes the artist an artist in my opinion. An artist is defined by their art. Not the other way around. Doctors and nurses are often required to do menial things that do not comprise the whole entity of their profession. Perhaps there is arrogance in defining someone else's profession or what they are. I used to think Picasso was not a great artist until I learned more about him and that he had the ability to create anything he desired to produce and not just eclectic trendy things but the trendy stuff was my first introduction to his art and I thought it a joke compared to a Mona Lisa. The difference between an artist and someone painting a picture is like an abortionist that performs an abortion in a clinic or one that performs one with a coat hanger. They perform the same function but are defined by the level of their expertise and reputation and in the artists case the artist is defined by the reaction to his/her art by others. Are artists, doctors, and nurses defined by money? by others reactions? by the art produced? I believe artists are very complex and when you meet one and see the art and have art in your heart you will know that the beauty of art is sometimes in the eye of the beholder.

well there we are paradise is another shining example of what a person who talks while knowing nothing what they are talking about. and on top of that it seems she/he is still afraid of the childs boogieman satan. while many of us normal humans grow up to disbelieve in santa clause and the easter bunny and satan this person seems like they still do. man it must suck to hide in their house all day and watch out for boogieman under every stone. no this is not automatic writing. its more of a shamans vision quest. obviously the excersize of stroking the brush across the canvas puts her into a trance state. in this state it is very easy to have enhanced day dreams that the natives call visions. she paints those visions. very often people look into pools of water, window reflections, dark mirrors, and crystall balls to create this exact kind of trance. this is called scrying. automatic is called scrying too although i dont have a clue as to why. except maybe a person can create a trance in how they scribble. but thats about it. if she isnt scribbling its not automatic writing. so paradice go read some real books and find out the truth. have a good day and i hope i helped.
