Yes, I just saw The Wicker Man. But I've seen pics and read about the whole "wicker man" sacrifice thing in other places. Do you think it was real, or just propaganda? Or maybe the Druids started the rumor to make themselves look tougher? (BTW, the movie is entertainment only--it has just a wee tiny bit of truth in it!)

Human fascination for grand, secret, unprovable plans to threaten their sense of security, opens the doors of the worst irrational human fears. Consipracy myths include: alien adbuctions, area 51, El Nino, and Global Warming. Where is the substantial, real, direct evidence? Why do people want to believe in the unprovable, and investigate the unlikely and unsubstantiated?

About 6 months ago, I had a dream in which I was in a pitch black space *I know it wasn't a room, it was just a space*, and someone was grabbing my upper arms and digging their fingertips into my arms. I remember screaming, and I woke up very abruptly, and my entire body was stiff and rigid, my hands straight out at my sides and my fingers spread out and every muscle taut. When I had calmed down, I went to have my shower, and I noticed yellow, brown and green bruises on my upper arms where I had been "grabbed" in the dream. I could not have done this myself, as I woke up too fast for my hands to move from my arms down to my sides. The bruises were NOT there before I went to bed that night. Could there be any explanation to this?

hi all...last night, i dreamt that i was home(in my home country), i was asleep at a house(i forgot who's), in my dream i knew that i was with my sister...somehow, we separated and i told her i'd contact her and she the same. when i woke up, i saw a tsunami, i ran and found a building where i was safe & able to help other people. i tried contacting my sister to no avail, so i went to where she was but i couldn't find her and i couldn't reach where she was yet. so on my way, i met some old friends and was about to go somewhere when my dream ended. i'm curious as to wat that dream meant in regards to the tsunami and my sister. could u please help me?
