I suggest you to go back in "religion & spirituality"-section.
People who like mythology won't ever pretend it is "true" nor "fake", but that it is a wonderful reflect of human cultures.
And this is so inspiring. Wonderful tales. Fascinating.

Mythology MEANS study of myths. Myths ARE stories, legends, and beliefs of ancient people. IT IS NOT FAKE, IT IS A LEGITIMATE FEILD OF STUDY! Not knowing this, I am guessing you are either a high school student asking dumb questions, or someone with far too much time on your hands.
Also, the law in America is that anyone can believe in anything they want. I believe you cannot be that bored, so you must be that stupid.
FYI: Any questions/answers here about religions or they're beliefs should not actually be in this section, they are misplaced.

Try respect other people's views and stop criticising others. If you point a finger towards anybody remeber three fingers are pointing towards u.
There are lot of fake things in life which we feel are real and go after it and end up in problems.
Atleast mythology gives some good thoughts for the human mind.

dont get your panties in a bunch. you cant say for sure wheter its real or not.everybody knows the popular myth about atlantis right? the sunken city if it was fake then it wouldnt have risen out of the ocean. edward cayce a christtian pyschic once predicted the resurrection of atlantis. on the precise day he predicted, large stoe blocks, cubicles and pillars arose out of the ocean.the architectural size and design suggestedthat rocks could have been part of large building used for commerce trade politics or a combination of all. noone knows if myths are true or not but elements from which the myths are born are found in everyday life. and there is no denying that fact.

mythology is the study of ancient religions, im not sure how you can say its fake, all these beliefs were popular even after christ in many places. you have a very narrow view of the world of learning dont you.
so glad to see another champion of Joseph Campbell, my fav was Transformation of Myth Through Time. which showed how all of the ancient myths got blended to create most of the old testament.

I agree, its just as fake as christianity and every other spiritual beliefs. I think we should invade them with questions about mythology.

How do you know what is fake and what is real? Are you an all-seeing, all-knowing person. There is no need for you to say something about what you are not open minded to. Open your mind and heart and then you can tell what is fake and what is not.

no...cannabis...but sereisly it may be fake but it dose have some trueth behind it...everything dose but were intrested in it and have no intention in leaving...not to mention you dontm know if its fake or not thats what makes them myths
