Many answers to complex questions are totally "conspiracy theory," which is an invalid method of investigation in that it assumes from the beginning that the entire matter is secret and not conducive to a rational investigation for objective evidence. Human fascination for grand, secret, unprovable plans to threaten their sense of security, opens the doors of the worst irrational human fears. Consipracy myths include: alien adbuctions, area 51, El Nino, and Global Warming. Where is the substantial, real, direct evidence? Why do people want to believe in the unprovable, and investigate the unlikely and unsubstantiated?

Sometimes deciding to blame an unknown is easier than facing up to reality. It is easier to blame the weakening environment on El Nino or Global Warming, than face up to the fact that there are things each person can do, however small, to make the environment a better place. And, there is something fun about imagination, which, except for the most cynical critic, may be all people are doing when they talk of conspiracy theories. Or, it is just a very hard question to answer, so they just shrug it off and blame it on the conspiracy theory. And, for someone with a detailed-oriented and scientific brain, investigating an unsubstantiated theory creates a challenge that they really want to try and solve.

First, the government tampered with the scientific reports concerning Global Warming. This is not theory, it is fact.

You cannot categorize alien abduction with real issues. Area 51 remains secretive because the government wants it that way. Why is El Nino, a meteorological phenomenon even mentioned in your question?

And why do you consider all of the above as conspiracy myths?

Y'all pushed me to this.
1) Alien abductions: no proof of or against.
2) El Nino: is a weather condition. I think it's the hot air that follows the jet stream that's stationary for long periods of time.
3) The government finally admitted that Area 51 really exists. And it's also posted that they WILL use deadly force against any trespassers without warning. I don't know about the alien space craft they supposedly have there, but they did test the first stealth fighters over it's air space.
4) Global warming: is happening though I don't think it's as serious as they want us to believe.
Just my opinions.

Stop watching TV, especially CNN and FOX news. Those shows are all about conspiracies. They all try to say that they are telling the truth and showing you what really happend. But they are all only doing what the govwernment is telling them to. Remember George Bush' cousin is high up in the Fox news company and decides what gets put on the air. And the reason why people enjoy it is because its thrilling. Why do we watch movies like Mission impossable, Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. It's entertaining. It's no different than religion which is greatly based on theories. People need somthing to cling to.

Mm, your last two are off. El Nino happened, and just about every scientist who isn't being paid off agrees that global warming is happening and that humans have something, whether a lot or a little, to do with it.

You lose, try again. ^_^
