Maybe there was hanky panky going on in the woods between two people that shouldn't.
With all the crying and screaming, the husband heard and went to investigate. He stood on a twig and alerted them, [getting exciting now ain't it?].
The man ran off. The husband rushed up to her all concerned, as he'd seen a silhouette disappear into the darkness of the trees, away from the light from the full moon. Away in the distance came a chilling howl from a lone wolf calling for his pack. Then it hit her! She came up with the ridiculous idea of telling him, that the upright silhouette was indeed, "A WEREWOLF!"
He said "What the hell are you on about you tart!?"

He divorced her. And with all his new spare time, he wrote a book about a werewolf that wandered the woods and forests on a full moon, in search of his unfaithful wife.
