now i must emphasise that i dont believe in the supernatural, but..... last weekend i went fishing on my own to a nearby lake set in the grounds of an old stately home, i had been there all day with not so much as a bite when all of a sudden my rod bent round and my reel started screeming, i striked and hit into a huge fish, after about twenty minutes i managed to land it and put it on the bank, i was just about to take a photo of my catch, when suddenly before my eyes it faded and completly dissapeared, what i want to know is did i catch a ghost carp...

A "ghost carp" is just another species of carp . I think you are telling us a ' fishy' story.

You did not mention if you had spent the day drinking as well as fishing maybe this could have been the cause of your ghost carp.

I think your story sounds a bit fishy to me or is it just a case of the one that got away, go back this week to the same spot and if it happens again then it appears you have had too much spirit the night before.

hey guys go easy on the guy.. i'd say the carp u caught might have not been there physically..but it isn't a ghost.. more like spirit of the lake...

you must have seen a SUPER-NATURAL carp( because the fish was super and where you was is a natural place to catch fish)or maybe you need to get away for a few weeks
