I'm learning Spanish using the Buen Viaje Level 1 book. Is there a good way that I can practice my Spanish during the summer? Should I get one of their books, or should I get another book? I just want to come back next year not totally unprepared, and I want to able to talk (albeit slowly and probably wrong) to some people I know in their own language. Thank you!!!!!!!

Is it "an HDTV" or "a HDTV"

"an HDTV" sounds more natural to my ear, but I would opt to write "a HDTV" becuase I know the English grammatical rules.

compared to portuguese or Italian? I am fluent in English, French, and Spanish and was wandering whether I should learn German or not. Im planning on become a doctor, being in research, or chemist. which language is more important globally in this case? I was thinking portuguese would be good since 200 million speak it but only in brazil, portugal, and 2 african countries. I need help!

First of all, Hello!
I need someone who knows about the Hindi and Arabic languages to translate "hope and faith" into those two languages, reason being that I'm going to get a tattoo with those words but I'm still deciding on the language it's going to be on. Thanks a bunch for considering!!!

People speak many different languages. All of them have some words in common, and some of the words are just completley different. My question is, who sat down one day, and just decided to make a language on which nearly all of our languages are based on today?
