so...I'm working on a project on the word love and I know there are sites out there that discuss how to say "I love you" and all that...but I'm looking just for the spelling of the word LOVE in languages that the white middle class don't normally know (Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, etc.)...and I know I'm demanding...but in the original spelling (not an English version). I'm looking for 9 langauges...any help?

I have ordered an idiomatic dictionary. In the meantime,

means: the Maya of the island of Cozumel were prohibited, according to consists in the "office's copying book."

I doubt "copying book" is correct. I mean -what is a "copying book."?

I speak Spanish fluently (second language) and I have always wondered about the pronunciation phenomenon that takes place and how it is accurately pronounced. This happens when a 'rr' sound procedes an 's'. Example: Mas rapido. When I hear native speakers say this word, they often seem to
"eat" the 's' so it sounds more like "Ma rapido". For me, I can accomplish saying it accurately if I say "Mas (pause) rapido...but to connect it together "masrrapido" well it sounds tangled and I end up making a "whistling" sound when I say it...kind funny!. So, what do you all say about it? Gracias!

my translation:
During Maximiliano’s empire in Mexico, the recently populated islands, Cozumel and Mujeres, were dependent on the Yucatan and so it happened during that short time and in that difficult situation, that a political Prefect conducted an inspection tour, to see what two decades of settlers (colonos=settlers) and average after the repopulation.

Hi everyone! You guys out there doing great job, I must say. Got one more question, though.
Could you please correct these sentences if they are wrong and give an alternative keeping the meaning og the original:
1st sentence: The earth is getting smaller and smaller as the number of people becomes bigger and bigger.
2nd: The primary reason(for the increase in the life expectancy) is the development of medical technique
3rd: Less labors and stresses can multiply the human longevity.
4th: People say our generations can live up to 120.
5th: I can't estimate the limitations of human faculty.
Please don't try to find a mistake for teh sake of finding one. If the sentence makes sense and grammatically OK, then just leave it. Thanks a lot in advance.

I am totally stuck with weak and strong verbs in german language. I know that weak verbs do not change the stem vowel in the past tense an past participle and they are considered like regular verbs in English

Strong verbs do change the stem vowel in both the past tense and the past aparticiple

my question is how do you know which verb is weak and which one is strong
