rêvasser, rêvasserie is good; you can also say"un rêve éveillé" that's correct too
"un rêve éveillé" is a dream you have without sleeping, when you're wide awake

rêverie is daydreaming(musing like "musing of a solitary walker)

dream is litterally un rêve

But , depending on the context, it can mean a thing which seems to you marvellous. In this sense it is like the words of luther king who said I made a dream

un rêve = what you dream. this can be a night dream or a day dream. and if you need a verbal form for what you wish to happen in the future, then you can use rêver as well.
