It seems a bit garbled: The port had already entered modernity, these were new times, here many of the changes that occurred accelerated the damage, since they had spent the first seventy years trying to make advances during that period, lacked half of the passed time so that the island entered a new definitive stage, that today distinguishes it from all of the State.

My love is graduating.. And I want to write her a letter, but my grammar is not that good. I know what to say, but on this particular part, i get stuck "In between all the identical caps and gowns, there'll be an individual that holds my heart " I want to say that she's soo special and means the world to me. Any suggestions?

I know the phrase "the old-boy network", but what I want to know is when do we use "old boy / old girl" to refer to our former schoolmates? "My old boy / old girl is a famous movie star now." sounds wierd, for it will be taken as my ex-boyfriend or girlfriend for sure.

baby, words alone can't seem to describe this feeling deep inside my heart, growing stronger with every beat. there isn't a moment that i don't think of you, still amazed at how you make me feel. you inspire me in a love so deep, so powerful, it overwhelms my every thought. you are my heart, all my dreams, and my realities. i love you more and more, with each day that passes.

I am a Chinese. So i personally think that Chinese is the most widly spoken language in the world. The Chinese language is going to be the world's spoken language in the future. Any points and views. I also have a view that besides Chinese and English, the other languages in the world are not important at all. It's no use learning eg Tamil when that language is spoken by so little people.
