What word or words in Arabic would be used in describing the "gods" of Greek mythology and/or objects of false worship?
Is there a true generic word in Arabic that matches the English word god or God?

Language and semantic experts or objective translators only.
Or others with good source material for transliteration o.k. too! Thank you very much.

I'm in spanish 1 in high school and we learned at the begining of the year that instead of writing the date in month-day-year form, you write it in day-month-year form. So the date today in spanish would be 4-1-07, instead of 1-4-07 so..... In English you normally write the date out like January 1st, 2007. How would I write out the date in spanish? 1 January, 2007?

Sorry if this is a little confusing =P
