What word or words in Arabic would be used in describing the "gods" of Greek mythology and/or objects of false worship?
Is there a true generic word in Arabic that matches the English word god or God?

Language and semantic experts or objective translators only.
Or others with good source material for transliteration o.k. too! Thank you very much.

Actually those "gods" are called ( aaleha آلهة ) in Arabic, and that is the plural noun, the singular would be ( Elah إله ) ..

for example , God of Sun = إله الشمس elah alshams

The 99 Names of God, also known as The 99 attributes of Allah (Arabic: أسماء الله الحسنى‎ translit: Asma’ Allah al-Ḥusná), are the names of God revealed to man in the Qur'an;[1] even though His names (as adjectives, word constructs, or otherwise) exceed ninety-nine in the Qur'an.""
