So, a quick Googling will bring up scores of sites on how to SAY happy birthday in dozens of languages. But where can I get the whole happy birthday SONG in Ukrainian? Somewhere I can hear an audio file of it would be ideal, esp. if it's a different tune than the way we sing it in America.

Thanks sooo much in advance, answerers!

I really like languages, and I am starting to think about jobs. Are there any jobs that deal with languages and have a high income? It doesn't really matter what the language is. I just want to know the job and the income. Thanks!

I'm visiting Berlin and Austria, and Italy. I am trying to learn a little German before I leave. Could some body help me with it? Just help me translate a few sentences like

"Good morning/afternoon/evening"
"Excuse me, do you speak English"
"Could you help me?"
"How do I get to --"

I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me how to pronouce them correctly, in case I made a mistake and offend some locals!
I'm living in Russia, they don't sell dictionaries which translates into english, so I'm at a huge disadvantage here. So far, I haven't found a website that teaches only to cater for needs of tourists...

It's in the song "The Prayer of the Children" by Kurt Bestor. It's a song about war, so maybe it's about a specific war and this is the language spoken in that country.

A lot of people misspell such simple words. For instance, they forget to drop the "e" before adding "ing" and often misuse "their", "there", and "they're". Do these people not pay attention in English class or are they just that careless?

You know, capitalizing the "I" when referring to yourself. I mean, someone must've created that rule. Someone who developed written language.
