This doesn’t mean anything reasonable in German, so how could it say anything in English!
If it were:
Weiter hoffe ich, dass Sie gute Weihnachten haben. Ich wusste nicht, was ich für sie aussuchen könne, dennoch hoffe ich, dass Sie an diesem Geschenk Freude haben. Ich befürchte, dass ich sehr schlech auf Deutsch schreibe. Ich hoffe, Sie haben ein gutes Jahr in Amerika. Sie sind ein guter Freund und ich bin froh, Sie getroffen zu haben.

If it were anything along these lines I could consider translating it for you and then it would read:
Furthermore I hope you will pass an enjoyable Christmas. I didn’t know what to get for you, still I hope you’ll like your present.
My written German is so bad, I am sorry about it. I hope you’ll have a good year in America. You are a true (good) friend and I am glad we have met.
