how long should it be before i become fluent in french? I have taken about 18 week of it last year in the eight grade, and i've been in it sence the beginning of september of the nineth grade.

It usually takes about 4 years to learn a majority of the grammar of a language. If you take French all through high school, you should have considerably good speaking skills by the time you graduate. Hardly anyone is "fluent" after taking a language in high school, but you can be close.

The best thing to do is travel to France or Canada or Haiti or even a part of your city with a French-speaking population so you can have practice with native speakers.

Complete fluency won't come for a number of years, but stick with it and you won't be disappointed!

It depends, and u are a long way from becoming fluent. Just keep at it, watch french movies, speak french conversations, and practice. Some people find that they cannot become fluent before immersing themselves in that particular language (spending time in france, for you). Good luck!

Well the best way to learn French is to go there and live for 1 year and you will spak French.

You have topractice speaking and hearing French, for example you can watch movies putting the DVD in French with subtittles in English

About 7 years of constant use.

Just go move there and see how much you still didn't learn in class.

practice, and watch movies, that you know the words to, in french, you will pick up some easy words, try hard and don't quit

je ne sais pas, j'apprendre le français depuis j'avais onze ans (j'ai quinze ans maintenant) et je peux parler le langue très bien, j'aime ça. si vous utilisez google, vous pouvez lire que ces mots dis. bien pour toi, je n'ai pas plus pour parler de... au revoir.
