"Elliot's translation is not the only English-language
version out there. Appropriately, there is also online translation taken from the original 2-Channel archives at www.yahoo.com."

English isn't my native language, and I don't know what "appropriately" means in this context. What is the synonym for "appropriately"?

I hope you can understand what I'm asking from the title. I have a quote and the whole thing is "tus palabras me pueden mentir
tu mirada, jamaz." I got most of it translated but when I do, it doesn't translate jamaz and idk what it means.

"Several cars collided in lane three."

Does this mean that there was a car accident which involved three lanes? Or a car accident occured in the third lane? Or none of the above?

English isn't my native language. Thanks in advance!

I've really noticed this on websites like Myspace.com and many blogs that I read. It is just unreal how many words are misspelled. Not that they might have hit the wrong keys on the keyboard, but over and over again the words are wrong. It just seems like they have no grasp on how to use words like "there," "their," and "they're."
And also I think the most misspelled word is "definitely." So is it true, that Americans are the worst at their own language?

Everything has a beginning, and I was just wondering how people from a country, say the Philippines, began to learn the Japanese language. I find it amazing how the first interpreters knew that they were translating correctly. I live in the Philippines. If, for instance, it's Japanese occupation nowadays, how do I understand what the Japanese people are talking about?
