What I have so far (thx):

Flan comes from Spain and France. There are 2 types of flan. English flan is pastry with custard and Spanish flan is custard with caramelized sugar. Spanish flan is made from eggs, milk, and sugar. The sugar is melted and placed into a pan. Then the milk and eggs are cooked and put on top of the sugar. When it is cooled, the flan is turned upside down and eaten. Flan is very popular all over the world, and here in the US it is usually associated with Mexico.

Ok, our first language is spanish, but when we are in the house we (my bro, sis, and I) talk English! So, I'm wondering if I should talk to her in English or Spanish, she's 6! I don't want her to forget spanish! She speaks spanish very good, but I'm afraid that she will forget! My bro is 12, so I don't worry much about him, he knows alot of spanish! My mom and dad work and my mom is here in the morning (when we are at school) and my dad is here in the afternoon(when we come back from school), but he sleeps becuase he works at midnight!

How similar are the Kanji characters between the 2 languages? Is it possible to write Japanese in all Kanji without using Hiragana, Katakana and Romanji? If yes, would a Chinese person be able to read it? As such, would a Japanese person be able to read Chinese if they had sufficient enduction in Kanji?

All I know is the benign "ZUT". I know there are a lot more common ones. I need to know this so that I know how to recognize them both in casual and derogatory speech.

When you read a book.
Even if you can't pronounce the word.Could you familiarize the word visually with the symbols and patterns that the letters makes, and understand it that way.
Because there are some ancient langauges(can't be specific like native american languages)that were just spoken but not written.

Or when you learn a new language do you have to see the words written down or can you learn it just by hearing the langauge being spoken?

And basically if you have any thoughts about what i just said.Well,to be frank, just say what ever comes to mind!

What language will eventually be the universal language spoken around the world? It eventually has to happen, a universal language, so I was just wondering what it would be. My guess is English.

I've learned that you cannot make someone love you.
All you can do is be (or being?) someone who can be loved.

be or being?

Is it because you don't know how?
Is it because you are lazy?
Is it because you don't feel that it is important on the internet?
Is it to bother people?
Is it too much of a bother?

I'm just curious. I try not to make fun of people for little things, but some questions are absolutely unreadable. Can you imagine reading something long, like the Lord of The Rings (for those of you that don't ONLY see the movie), without punctuation? You might get through 20 pages before giving up. Poor English can also make job hunting more difficult.

That said, I'm sure someone will find something wrong with my question. Oh yeah?! Well my dad is bigger than your dad!!!

I don't know if that's spelled right, but whatever. Is this in any way related to something like 'Hail, Hitler!' and would people gasp and shout 'Nazi' at me if I used it when my AP gets on my nervs?

I think it's "no realmente", but I'm not sure. Please answer me only if your first language is Spanish or if you speak Spanish very well.
