Can anyone help me understand the way of doing this in a basic form as my grammar books confuse me by expressing so many forms and tenses, im sure there can be a easier way of explaining this.

E.g. 1. She is beautiful. Main
E.g. 2. She is getting more beautiful every day. Auxiliary

3. He does his homework every night.
4. Does he work hard at school?
5. I don't like ice cream.
6. They have finished their assignment.
7. She has long, black hair.
8. Do you like opera?
9. It is a lovely day.
10. I have been learning Italian.

Im learning german.
but its different because the word that transelate in english
you dont use it in the same way.
like if you said hello how are you today.
eachword that translates to the word of english is in a different form.
so how do i know if im saying a sentence correctly.
and not all mixed up.

Here is following a flyer i'll pin on a wall at the university, but since I don't speak english, it sure needs to be corrected and turned into good english :

Every Christmas, I have to suffer through people calling it a poin-set-a. It is pronounced poin-set-ee-a. It grates my ears when people don't pronounce it right. Hello? There's an "I" in there! It doesn't magically become silent just because you're too damn lazy to pronounce it!

Why do you use gerund form instead of the infinitive?

Sth like this: "I'm looking forward 'to hear' from you soon..."

Why "it's nice to meeting you" instead of "...to meet you"?

I have came across the Hindi unaccpetance in south and etc
The question is simple will a North or East Indian, if given a chance or having a need to opt to learn a Dravidian language, will he/she learn ?
