I want to get familiar with British culture through its idioms; so I don't want to mix American idioms with the British ones. I cannot buy books published in Europe, so the only way ahead of me is Internet. And it should be a free website, as well. So who can introduce one to me? I would be most grateful.

THANKS,
Still Alone

dear Kevin,

I'm in Italy now, it''s great! I'm with my mother. We went by bus, and we stay in a fantastic hotel! Tommorow we planned to go shopping and Friday we'll go out! When we go home by bus we'll probably go over Avignon, so i was wondering if you were home from 6 till 10 July. Can i stay with you during the festival in avignon? I hope to hear from you soon. Say hi to your parents!

Bye Bye,
Naomi

I get a lot of comments and criticism about my accent, but I came to this country way after I was 12 (then something happens in your brain and your way of speaking is formed). But do people care? I can't really understand why they are so concerned in making me feel bad about something I can't change. I would call them ignorants and tell them that it's not their problem or business in anyway, but my work position just doesn't allow me to do so. Any suggestions how could I retort without them running to my manager?
