purchase one? What can I do to make it last a long time? My father is visiting for Thanksgiving and I think I may want to put it up before then.

What is the big deal? WalMart and other stores have decided to use 'Happy Holidays' as their official store greeting. Why are people upset over this? Is it really a big deal if someone you don't know, that doesn't know you or your beliefs, gives you a warm friendly greeting. Yes, most people in America celebrate Christmas, but there are many Holidays between November and December and we should celebrate them all.
WalMart is a GLOBAL company, and like it or not, there are plenty of people in the world who don't celebrate Christmas. WalMart wants those people to feel just as welcome as the ones who do celebrate Christmas. Is this really what things have come to in America? We are complaining about someone saying 'Happy Holidays'. There are so many more important things to worry about.

It's time that people say enough is enough. About 2 years ago in Kentucky people boycotted Walmart when they tried to shove that Happy Holiday stuff down their throats. As a result that Walmart gave in & included Merry Christmas in their promotions. Other people from different states have done the same crusade with some sucess. I for one will not shop any store that has that politically correct crap. If people took a stand against this something will be done but until people stop sitting down twiddling their thumbs & just accept everything being done to them nothing will ever change. MERRY CHRISTMAS NOT HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

What do you think about the article on Yahoo's main page making Santa's say ha ha ha so they don't offend women and the fact that place are asking Santa to slim down as it's a bad image for kids to see an obese man? Seem ridiculus? I think so!

Another prime example of the politically correct police getting totally out of hand. Your thoughts? And Merry Christmas not that politically correct Happy Holidays nonesense.

Don't get me wrong, I love the holidays, but I would love to snap my fingers and have my house look like a spread from Better Homes and Gardens. I'm so obsessive about getting everything just so that it takes me forever to finish. I get burned out before I even finish. And my family, they could really care less..

Sydney's Santa Clauses have instead been instructed to say "ha ha ha" instead, the Daily Telegraph reported.

One disgruntled Santa told the newspaper a recruitment firm warned him not to use "ho ho ho" because it could frighten children and was too close to "ho", a US slang term for prostitute."

Ok folks, that's a quote from Yahoo News. What do you think about this?

In Australia, newspapers are reporting that Shopping centre santas are no longer allowed to say "ho ho ho" but "ha ha ha" instead.

This is for several reasons...

1. Children are far too scared of santa, and ha ha ha is something children can relate to.

2. That children will associate the "ho" in "ho ho ho" with another term which is considered derogatory.

Come on, let Santa say ho ho ho like he always has..

What do you think?

My Aunt hosts christmas every year, im required to buy a prsent for my parents, my sister, my 4 cousins, their 4 wives, their kids- 5 second cousins, my aunt and uncle.

Does anyone think this is crazy? I never see any of these people. We used to pick from a hat one person until a cousins wife insisted we stop and buy for everyone.

Quite frankly id rather not attend anymore being that im 26 and spend the day with my friends and spend money on them
