I'm currently deployed to ramadi Iraq. Serving a 15 month tour with the army. This is my second deployment and secong Christmas in Iraq. No one in my family will buy me a IPOD so I am asking complete strangers.

to NOT use a living Christmas Tree? I have used artificial trees for years. Besides, real trees cost too much and I would be taking more from the environment.

ok so for christmas this year im getting my guy a japanese puzzle box which is the gift, now i need a prize for when he opens it, so far i have no idea what to put in it.

I know that other people have asked this, but I want to hear some things you all do to keep your cats off and away from your Christmas tree! This is the first year we'll have cats and a tree so I'm hoping that everything will go well.. We're going to use ribbon to tie the ornaments to trees so they're a little less likely to fall, but other than that, we don't know waht to do! Thanks for the ideas!

My brother is bringing his girlfriend home and she has 3 kids and they are Jehovas Witness... so they don't celebrate Christmas. I don't mind her religon... but I'm not going out of my way to take out all the tree and not decorate the house. This will also be the first Christmas for my newborn and I want it to be really special. Is this a bad time for us to meet? Should I buy her a present anyways... I'm a little confused. Are there any Jehovas Witness out there who can help me out?

how early is to early to put youre lights and decorations up it just seems if you dont put them up early you dont get to enjoy them time goes by so fast now days.but dont want the neighbors to think im crazy besides they think that we try to outdo them every year we do its a xmas war they buy something then we go by something i usually win
