If you keep it out of the heat, sun and harsh light, water it daily, give it stimulants, it can last several weeks. But, failure to do any of this will mean dead branches and needles on the floor in days.

Put it in a stand but before you do so saw off about an inch from the bottom so it can take in water easily. Then remember to water it every day and don't let people, dogs, etc bump into it all the time. If you do this it might go 3-4 weeks with only a few dead branches, but more than that is doubtful. Good luck with your christmas tree in october....!!

We usually get are a couple of weeks before Christmas, and it last until new years. We go to a tree farm the day after thanksgiving to pick one out, we pay for it, put a chain and lock on it with our tag and then come pack and cut it down when we are ready. You just have to keep it well watered!

It really depends on the type of tree you get! You can always put sugar in the water to keep it alive longer(or the same stuff they put in with cut flowers)

well it depends.... make sure you water it they need alot of water otherwise they shed and fall apart faster that there supposed to.after u are done using the tree u must carefully take down and recycle.Since you chose a real tree unlike a fake tree u cant save it it would decay and various other thing.Just remember too water it because if it gets too dry it may start fire!!!!!!!!!!!!! Soooo be careful
