I would start now!
Its not cold out so thats in your favor and you don't have to put the big stuff on the lawn yet, just those house lights that are difficult to put up in the ice & cold!
Usually people do not take those down until February anyways. I'm talking about the lights not the Lawn deco. the lights are not seen unless they are turned on anyway. you would be safe to do it now.
People have halloween decorations up right now so, no opne would know!

Merry Christmas!

We actually put our decorations up only about 1 week before Xmas, but leave them up until halfway through the month of January.

This year we might put everything up on Thanksgiving, and leave them up until New Years.

My stepmom decorates her ENTIRE house with trees in every room....a LOT of work, and only leaves things up for 2 weeks. To me, she probably spends more time decorating and putting away than she does actually enjoying the decorations.

It depends on how many you have to install, and when you want to turn lights on.

Some people, that have a lot of lights to install, have already started putting out lights. However, these same people are the ones that light up the day after Thanksgiving.

The first week of December is also an acceptable time to turn lights on.
