How do I make this Christmas really fantastic? Does your family have any traditions that I might be able to use? Bear in mind that I have very little cash! Thank you.

Pray and thank God for everything your grateful for, such as family, friends, health, well being . . . Oh, and wish a happy birthday to Jesus.
If your not faith based, buy all the materials you could afford.

To me, a perfect Christmas is doing activities with family and friends. Make and hang decorations together: string popcorn, make chains out of construction paper, hang Christmas lights around the inside walls of your home and do a tree. Don't forget playing Christmas music at the same time! You can do a different theme every year too--one family I know does "Christmas in a different country" each year. Do a little research, make one or two recipes from the country you pick, have family do one or two as well and see how other people celebrate Christmas around the world. Singing carols with family is fun too. One fun thing to do is to get together with family or friends and walk or drive around neighborhoods looking at all the decorations. (especially fun if it snows too) After the walk, make hot chocolate together and look at pictures from previous Christmases, reminiscing. Just do things with people and Christmas can be very special. And remember the reason for having Christmas to begin with is to celebrate Jesus Christ's birth and thank Him for his free gift of salvation offered to each of us.

Dancingn,
get each person a card (only) .
inside place an obligatory note giving them
access to your services for a determined time. ie brothers - u pickup their rooms 15 times in yr. dad - u wash his car inside /out 5 times yr. mom - be her maid 10 times yr.
sis - leave her alone or be shoulder to cry on. kids let them be boss for 3 days in yr.
spouse - well just keep the doors closed.
OR cook up a batch of goods.

Fill it full of love, fun and family, let your traditions develop inside your family as others' traditions will not be meaningful to your family.
