it is spring in NZ and by christmas it will be a glorious summer however I would love to experience a white christmas, in saying that I dont like the cold very much. So what is a white christmas like? is it all that? or is it just another christmas with over priced goods that you cant help but buy just because?

I am already a member of yahoo Christmas Assistance Help Groups for my childen. I am trying to find MSN, EBAY, or any other types of groups or organizations to join and ask for Christmas Assistance for my children on. (Like I said I dont need any Yahoo groups, I am looking for some others)

Back in the days of the Roman Empire, a small donkey is born with VERY long ears, that keep getting him into trouble. When his owner throws him out of the stable in disgust, his mother sacrifices her life to save him from a blizzard. I'm hanging some Christmas lights this year for the first time on my new house. Need some ideas and help! My house has a very high peak (one that can't be reached by a ladder) and I need ideas on how to get the lights up to that peak? Is there any tools I can buy (like an extender or something) that works good? Any ideas on how to accomplish getting lights up on a house peak?

I already noticed such stuff in a local Costco (it was only a few items, though). I think they're stocking earlier and earlier and I doubt it'd be long before it's NOT unusual if a store sells Christmas stuff year round.

Its not long now,were into october and the clocks go back this month. Theres only 83days till the big day (though the build ups the best part). So whats everyones top 5 xmas songs, mines below-

everyone complains about the commercialised side of christmas, but to be honest i love it, especcialy the coca-cola advert! People also say that we shouldn't forget the lord. Actually the Christians hijacked (quoted from my catholic friend) christmas from the pagens. Anyway, who loves christmas movies/food/commercials/magazines/presents/hot chc?!?!
