I agree with 37yearold... u should get him a really nice glass globe! Also what you could do is maybe make him more of an office space... like decorate your office with vintage globes and vintage map drawings (like political AND geography maps) and stuff and get him a nice desk that you can put his glass globe on and get him a sketchbook, a notebook, maybe a macbook laptop, pens/pencils for him to sketch maps, etc. (Idk how much ur budget is so im just kinda going off here!) Also u could *try* to incorporate sports somewhere in there... also you could put up vintage history posters and get him some history books and make a really cool vintage study where he can relax and make maps. I think that would be AWESOME! I know he would probably love it. Good luck!! Hope I helped!

No matter what u do im sure he will LOVE it cuz hes ur husband!!

Oh and btw that is SUCH a cool job!

He makes maps for a living....that is SO awesome. I love traveling and maps are my favorite item to utilize when decorating.

Have you guys traveled a lot? Is there any way that you could plan a special trip for the two of you and give him the map of where you will be at christmas or something like that. Especially some place that has excellent museums, historical or geographical features since he is in to those things. Thats all I can think of, I know what its like to feel like the person already has so much stuff and what could mean more...ya know.

How about a nice hardcover book on one of his favourite topics or a gift certificate for a bookstore. I'm not sure what city you are in but for fun you could make a package of tickets to different sports events (tickets to hockey, football, basketball...).

Have you tried asking him?? I hate I can't tell you exactly what to get your husband, but you can never go wrong with a gift card.

my husband collects glass globes, they are pretty, and since your husband likes geography they might be something he'd like. Here's some but there are many many more out there.
