everyone complains about the commercialised side of christmas, but to be honest i love it, especcialy the coca-cola advert! People also say that we shouldn't forget the lord. Actually the Christians hijacked (quoted from my catholic friend) christmas from the pagens. Anyway, who loves christmas movies/food/commercials/magazines/presents/hot chc?!?!

I call x-mas just that. XMAS (without the christ). Because I like my xmas without all the religious connotations. I don't care what other people THINK i should do, or HOW i should celebrate. Just let me do it my way, and you do it yours.

I don't care if the season/holiday/whatever is for some "Holier than thou" dude in a manger. Don't shove that at me, and I won't get in your face either about santa being "Jollier than thou".

I love caroling . I sing about frosty, santa, rudolph, white xmas's etc. I love the commercials, the 80's cartoon christmas specials,
I love hot cider, hot chocolate, candycanes (which Christians would have you believe are religious, but they aren't. Check snopes), xmas trees, decorating the house with holly, and mistletoe. Sledding with friends, baking goodies for gifts and getting creative with crafts.

Yay Xmas, i can't wait!

I love it no matter how much it is or isn't about god. My family is not overly religious and our Christmas isn't immune to the commercialism of the season, but at least it's a time when we are all together and do things for each other and really love that time. It makes us feel better about the world. And I think it makes us better people because we think about others.

Christmas may be a hijacked holiday and have zero to do with the actual birthdate of Jesus, however, it is the time of year Christians across the world (except for a few) celebrate the birth of Jesus.

And there is nothing wrong with that.

We decorate our home for Christmas. This year, we will have 25,000 flashing lights set to music.

It is a great thing to do for the community and celebrate Jesus.

Christmas is a Pagan Holiday.

It has nothing to do with the birth of Yeshua.
