and hundreds in Christmas?

A Jewish person once told me that Jews don't make a big deal out of Hanukkah the way that gentiles do about Christmas.

Also, consider that only Jewish people celebrate Hanukkah, but a wide variety of people celebrate Christmas. Non-religious people celebrate Christmas right along side the devout Christians.

Because the vast majority of people in America are Christian. It's like 85% of us. Just by the numbers you would expect that you get more questions about Christmas than Hanukkah. On top of that, Hanukkah does not have the same significance to Jewish people that Christmas has for Christians. Christmas and Easter are two huge holidays for Christians, but Hannukah finishes well behind Yom Kippur or Rosh Hashanah for Jewish people. That's probably it.

More people celebrate Christmas than Hanukkah?

Or it could be that everybody that celebrates Hanukkah has no questions that need to be answered.

Well I'm not too sure but I'm guessing that Hanukkah isn't a very common subject to ask questions about and Christmas, I find is more popular

Because even people like you end up posting in the Christmas section. If you want more questions in the Hanukkah section, post some there.
