My worst Christmas was the year I had to spend in Phoenix, Arizona with my infant son, which is the only thing that held me together. I also had to spend it with a very abusive husband (& of course is long been an ex) and the rest of my family was in our hometown in Wisconsin..Seeing Christmas lights in the desert was an interesting experience, the reflection that they have off snow is something I adore..I hope all your holiday season this year is filled with many PEACEful moments and with many wonderful memories..;0)

I went "home" to where my mother had moved, found it to be a totally disgusting smelling slum, and my sister (at the time 13 yrs old) kindly offered to stay at her boyfriend's house so I could have her room while home from college. However, on Xmas, I found out that she and my mother were lying to me because my sister had moved in with her boyfriend and they figured I would be upset so they decided to lie to me about that. That they lied to me was way worse than my sister not wanting to live in that slum!
And my brother that year was so depressed and unemployed.
Never went home for Xmas again!

I was 14, sick, and my mom had just died a few months before, and I heard a strange female voice in the kitchen with my dad. I never got off the couch but she is the woman he married last month.

Mine was when I broke up with the love of my life on Dec. 1st.

It was the most miserable Xmas (and Valentine's Day) ever...
