So we have a small house... nowhere to put a Christmas tree. It's just my husband and I here, and I want some kind of Christmas tree. He doesn't want to spend any money on a small one. Would you rather print one out and tape it to the wall, go without, or do you have any other creative ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hey everybody, I'm a student and consequently have no money. Can anyone think of a good creative christmas present for my 18 year-old girlfriend? I was thinking of creating her own website, totally dedicated to her

e.g. www.matthewwarnock.com

How's that sound?

I would like to decorate for Christmas outside but I don't have any electrical outlets outside to put up lights and things like that. Do you have any ideas on other ways that I could make my place look festive? I do have some bushes and a porch that I could spruce up, but without lights I need different ideas. Thanks!

My son is in preschool with 26 children. I'd like to send small gifts in for the children, but am stuck on what to get. I mean, even if I only spend $2 per kid, I'm already up to $52. Then, he has 8 teachers and aides there and he has 5 therapists that he sees once a week that I'd also like to get gifts AND his 3 bus drivers always get him something so I'd like to get them something in return. (My son is autistic and that is why he comes in contact with so many people each day/ week.) Okay, so now the count is up to 26 kids and 16 adults. What can I get them that won't run me broke?

When you and your spouse tied the knot, how did you merge traditions? I don't mean going to his family for Thanksgiving and yours for Christmas, but as in the way you do things in your own house.

When is the tree put up? Do you open one gift Christmas Eve? Especially for those that merged faiths, how did you do it? I have a friend who has a blue/silver Jewish kitchen and a red/green Christmas tree-filled living room. On the traditions that you disagreed with, did one of you win out or did you merely merge them into your own tradition?

What is it called when you sell something of your own to buy someone else a gift for something they have. But they sold the thing that your gift was for, to buy you something for the thing you sold to buy their present?

we got our first christmas tree, a douglas fur. since it is our first, i wanted to make an ornament out of the bottom slice to commemorate the occasion.

would it be ok to just let it dry and then mark on it? how long would it take to dry? its maybe a half an inch think. would it be wise to put some kind of wood finish on it? i kind of like it the way it is without the finish, but i want it to last. i'm just afraid of it rotting, attracting bugs or falling apart.

What is the most hilarious scene you have ever seen in a Christmas movie?
I love the Honey Ham scene in Christmas with the Kranks.. when they are racing down the grocery aisle for the last one.. and Jamie Lee Curtis goes flying into a big stack of boxes.. then her ham gets runned over in the street. I laughed my arrse off!
