My son is in preschool with 26 children. I'd like to send small gifts in for the children, but am stuck on what to get. I mean, even if I only spend $2 per kid, I'm already up to $52. Then, he has 8 teachers and aides there and he has 5 therapists that he sees once a week that I'd also like to get gifts AND his 3 bus drivers always get him something so I'd like to get them something in return. (My son is autistic and that is why he comes in contact with so many people each day/ week.) Okay, so now the count is up to 26 kids and 16 adults. What can I get them that won't run me broke?

Kids
- make loot bags with chocolates, candies and an orange
- little toys from the $1 store
-Santa Hat/elf hat or reindeer ear (kinda fun) - kids will love this (they are $1 at the Dollar Store and Walmart)
-keychain
-a fortune cookie for next year along with a card
-bookmark
- buy them a pair of Christmas socks
- There are these 3-D glasses that when you go and look at Christmas lights they change the lights to look like snowflakes, snowman or say Merry Christmas. They would have lots of fun with these. http://www.christmasmouse.com/3dglasses.html

- gift cards in $2 denominatios for a coffee at TIm Hortons
--gift certificate for Tim Horton's or Star Bucks
-drinks mix pkg they are only $1 or $2 different types of Hot Chococlate like Candy Cane, Double Fudge, or a bottle of water and a Chrystal lite pack.
- Shop at the Dollar Store you will find great little things like
-christmas ordaments.
-make a batch of cookies and put them in little boxes
-seeds for next years garden
-make a donation to a charity. Give the card and the charity should give you a note indicating a donatio was made in their name.
-at Canadian Tire they have bird seed in the shape of a bell. Give them each that to hang in their trees it's only $1.99
-Canadian Tire sells these things that convert a 2L or 1L pop bottle into a bird feeder by screwing it to the bottom of it. Get that
-Car air freshener

-wine stopper
-miniture sewing kit
- crest has this new toothpaste that is holiday flavored like cinnamon or citrus
-luggage tags that have their name and address printed on them
- create them a CD of all of your son's favorite Christmas Songs.

Find out some of the books the the kids want in the library. For the kids and the adults alike why not just donate a book to the school in their names. They will all use it. I think this is a nice jesture.

Skip getting the children gifts. They will make things in school and also they will probably have a party or something. When they have a party contribute a food or another item they need.

I would stick to just getting the adults gifts. Go to a dollarstore and get a few little things per each person.

Add on: with food items you have to be careful there are a lot of children with allergies to different foods....

You could always make candy cane reindeer for the kids: get googly eyes, brown pipe cleaners for the antlers, red pompom for the nose, and a candy cane. Check online for directions. I use a hot glue gun to make them.

As a teacher, I can honestly say that I'd rather a hug or a homemade card than have my students or their parents spend money on me. If you must, then make it something homemade, but not edible.

By far the greatest gift is a homemade gift using pictures because everyone loves memories.

I found this easy to use product where you can actually make tons of different gifts for all sorts of people at all age groups--who knows you may be able to hit everyone on your list with this one product which is under $30.

And it's really great for pre-schoolers--you should definitely check this out because you could use it year round.

These gifts can be used daily. If my parents didn't get their yearly calendar, they'd be sad. They look at those calendars and the sweet faces of their grandchildren each and every day. In fact, last year my father was a little mad that I didn't include a picture of myself on the calendar. So you can bet that this year's calendar will have each and every person in our family within the pages.

This product has a lot of pre-made scrapbooks
a calendar
a deck of cards
flashcards
memory cards

and all you have to do is add your own pictures and print.

You could easily make a deck of cards or memory cards on your computer and print out enough for each person in the large group you described to have their own set.

It's so easy anyone can do it, even me :) And yes, this one product will help me make personalized gifts for so many people.

And the second the product arrives in your inbox is the same second you can start using it.

and you'll be on your way to unique gifts.

I hope this helps you!

Go to Big Lots and get all the adults a Christmas ornament. As for the kids, Michaels has some great 2 for a dollar stocking stuffers. Make sure they are not dangerous for the little one's. Here's and idea a cute Christmas cookie for each.

For the adults I would go with goodies. Make some candy, cookies or little loaves of bread. Teachers always appreciate that and enjoy the sweet treats.

For the kids I have seen Reindeer food; oatmeal with gold glitter in it and a note about how to feed the reindeer, There is also hot coco with marshmallows, or little candy cane reindeer.

Maybe a platter of homemade cookies? Our office secretaries received an assorted nut gift set the other day. Parents usually send their students with Safeway cupcakes and cases of soda or Capri Sun for celebrations, which is cheaper than $52.

send cupcakes for the kids and go the the dollar store, they have coffee mugs for teachers for a 1.00 or 2.00 that way you are not spending a lot of money. Do the same with the bus drivers. If not coffee mugs they have notepads & pens that say teacher on them togetger for a 1.00. They are nice gifts and cheap. That is a lot of people to buy for so go cheap.

I am a teacher and I love starbucks gift cards. I would bake something for the kids (cookies maybe) or buy cookies or candy. Also, for the teachers...just a nice card saying how much you appreciate him/her...etc. Honestly, teachers don't expect much and it's the thought that counts more than spending money.

Maybe you could get each kid a candy cane, and each adult a little snow globe. Preschool kids are easily amused, and since they are still toddlers, they love things they can put in their mouth. Candy canes are pretty, and tasty! (just make sure they're all the same flavor so they don't fight over them!)

You can get snowglobes at the local dollar store, and they are always really cute. Short, sweet and simple is the key!

Use this with a package of bought cocoa or make up your own dry mix. Tie
the saying to a candy cane with colorful ribbon and tape to the pack of cocoa.

A little cup of cocoa,
I'm sending your way,
For you to sip and enjoy,
On some cold lonely day.

As you sip this cocoa,
It's heat will warm your heart.
Just like our friendship warmed mine,
Right from the very start.

these are cute ideas i got from an email someone sent me.
have him sign the peom and you can copy it on red paper.
