At Michael's martha stewart has these gift boxes for cookies. They are really nice but kinda pricey!

Chinese Take out container

Buy crystal plates at garage sales....clean them up and voila. They can keep the dish.

I would put them in a large mixing bowl with wooden spoon, cookie sheet with spatula or a pretty serving Christmas plate. I always include the recipe.

excellent idea...they will love it...you can do all sorts of things...if they like flowers, decorate flowers on the cookies and pick up cheap clay terra cotta flower pots and wrap the cookies in that....or...little storage boxes they can use later (dollar store)...check out the dollar stores in your area for some great container ideas...the list is limitless

I saw cute take-out containers in red and green at World Market. You can fill them with cookies and Christmas candies. They look like Chinese take-out containers with metal handles. They had silver and gold ones too.

I like to make my own little cardboard baskets and tie the handles with lots of ribbons or tinsel (use celophane too)
