I think its because of all the music using the word ho rather than using the whole word whore. So now it has become an offensive word just like the word gay used to mean happy now it means homosexual. Thats where i think it stems from.

I think they should still be able to say it. Only unless the Santa is looking right at women and saying Ho, Ho, Ho, in a certain way. If the women just thought like that, then they much think they are "Hos"

These women need to get a life. Santa is all about Ho, Ho, Ho. They should stay away from any malls.

It is a tradition for Santa to say "Ho Ho Ho" and is a familiar Christmas comfort. For those who are offended----Seriously, get some therapy.

I think this is the silliest thing I have ever heard. This is political correctness gone to seed. Santa saying Ha, Ha, Ha does not sound as good as ho, ho, ho.

She is offended because she thought when Santa said ho ho ho he was talking to her and two of her friends.

The only reason these women found the "Ho, Ho, Ho" offensive, because they must feel guilty. It is sad to see what our society has become. I guess you can't please everyone.

I know it's not supposed to be funny, but that is hilarious. Out of all the things to be touchy about, it had to be this? I could understand if it were diliberate offense, but Santa?

I don't understand why a woman would be offended by it unless she thinks she's guilty. I personally have never had a problem with it because obviously, the phrase doesn't refer to women.
