My 2 year-old had a HUGE temper tantrum when I took all his toys away to re-wrap them for Christmas this year.

Should he get them back on the 25th, or is a sound bashing in order?

Yes- he has everything. He has 2 great-grandchildren. I was going to do a photo album, but the other parents of the grandchild are dragging their feet on getting me pictures. (Yes, I am in a hurry since I have jury duty for the next 3 weeks) Any other ideas that would be nice, simple, not too expensive yet thoughtful and sincere?

I want a portable recording studio which I saw in a music shop =) I've wanted one for ages, I'm only 13, but I'm mad into music (writing, singing and instruments) =) I also want some clothes from Hot Topic =D

If a business is sending out a flier with "holiday" specials, would putting a picture of Santa on the flier be offensive to the Jewish and other religions?

I personally don't believe it would be, as a fat elf-turned human (thanks to Coca-Cola) really isn't a religious symbol in my mind.

My boss would like to put a Santa image on the flier, but then second-guessed himself because we know some of our customers are Jewish.

I personally believe he's trying to take the political-correctness too far. I just want other opinions.

How many of you experiences snow on Christmas day?

I was living in New Orleans In 2004 when It happened. Let me tell you it was the most awesome sight (aside from seeing my babies for the first time)in the world. I never realized how awesome it was.

To see snow in New Orleans is one thing but on Christmas that is a miracle. Someone got their wish.

I want to see it again but I live in Southeastern Texas now.

For many years the Holidays were extremely hard.

I was an orphan and the only real "family" ideas I had came from books and television...of course that is not reality.

I have finally learned to not have any expectations, just enjoy friends and family and take each day as it comes....Bless! Anyone?

With the holiday gift giving around the corner I was wondering if any of you give clutter free gifts. I'd like to see ideas for different age groups and genders.

I see some people are serving Christmas pudding this Christmas. I have heard of plum pudding but never Christmas pudding. I read it originated in England and it is a British tradition. How is this pudding made and do people really let it hang for weeks? That is interesting. How good is it and is there a place in the states I could sample some before the holidays are over?

It looks so nice and neat and pretty. Then by day 3+ it looks like it's been used as a punching bag.
My tree will not stay nice for nothing! I guess it's because I have 2 preschoolers and a cat living here...
Looks like I get to take off all the ornaments, fix all the branches again, figure out a way to fix it's lopsided appearance, then redecorate it.
Oh, what fun...
