Christmas - November 2006

[Selected]: All categories Society & Culture Holidays Christmas

in encouraging love, and helping each other out especially this Yule-Tide season. Afterall, we are responsible for our ignorance and indifference if we fail to see the human need in others around us who have little or none. And if there is indifference to human responsibility than there surely must be something wrong with our heart. " Rescue the perishing, don't hesitate to step in and help..." (Proverbs 25)
What are you going to do to help someone or some family in need this Christmas?
What are some ways we can help, I for one would like to know some ideas as mine seem to be the same year after year? I would appreciate some fresh input, so step up to the plate and pour your ideas out.

wrapping it like it came from santa, and leaving on the doorstep of an 'underpriviledged' family as a christmas present to yourself.
Just a thought.

He's 19 and lives in Australia, I live in California, it's an internet relationship, but we are quite serious about each other, despite the fact that we have only been seeing each other since mid-July. He is 19 and is a computer gamer, and a student at Tafe, he likes Neverwinter Nights, but not World of Warcraft, and doesn't want Neverwinter Nights 2 ..... He is really quite a geek, but would never admit it, (I'm a geek as well, but am proud of it :-P ) what should I get him?

What the heck are they singing?

90% of the songs I have never ever heard of. It's like wow how much of a sheltered life did I live, but then most of the parents are in the same boat as me I realize.

Hi, I own and run my own independant company. I am a one man team in a way. For this up coming Christmas I want to get them something special, but at the same time not spend a fortune or make my client's think I'm cheap. For the past 3 years I have gotten them the Frech Rocherro chocolates. My budget is between $20-$30. What do you guys think I should get? (I have to buy about 15-25 of them)

I love drinking eggnog without alcohol. But this year I'm having a party for Christmas, and want to make an alcoholic eggnog for some of my guests. However, I've never had alcoholic eggnog, nor been around it. So what type of alcohol typically goes in eggnog?

I love to do 'different' things and have original ideas...I was thinking this year when I send out Christmas cards (My card list is fairly short, not hundreds of them to send out or anything.) I'd like to have some kind of crafty insert included inside of the card. To me, this would make it more interesting for the recipients rather than just opening it up and saying,'Oh another card, hang this one up', you know?
-Any cute ideas on what I could include as an insert? (Other than including a picture.) I'm pretty crafty and have alot of free time at work to do this.
