What is with the upside down Christmas trees I see advertised this year, is this a new thing and where did this come from? Does this seem satanic to anyone else, or is it supposed to??

Cinnamon, you are not that bright. These trees are advertised all over and if you read other people's answers before you put yours up, you would realize that perhaps you are not up on your shopping skills. (There is a link in the answer before yours which explains more about the upside-down tree) I do not drink and I take offense to your comment. Do some research before you answer a question about something you have never even heard of. Why would I ask a question about something that doesn't exist??

Hanging fir trees upside down goes back to the Middle Ages, when Europeans did it to represent the Trinity. But now, Christmas trees are shaped with the tip pointing to heaven, and some think an upside-down Christmas tree is disrespectful or sacrilegious.
I think it's the funniest thing i've ever seen...thanks for asking the question because before now i didn't even know they existed.

upside down trees is a protest against the stores no longer saying Merry Christmas but Happy Holidays. The tree started in Germany and the early church tried to stop the worship surrounding it. Its a pagan tradition, taken over by the Christians and Catholics. If you can't beat them join them. Satanism and witchcraft which we think we know today was ideas from the church and Hollywood. Read the Witches Hammer written by two Dominican priests that outline witchcraft. The church only went after witches when they burnt all the heretics.

They have nothing to do with Satanism. Neither does anything else.
I have never heard of upside down Christmas trees nor have I seen them advertised anywhere. I don't know anyone who has seen such a thing either, even people who work in retail everyday.
My guess is that whoever started the questions about them being as popular as they supposedly are had a little too much spiked eggnog to drink.

To those that are still asleep...yes it would seem like a trend but to those who see things with spiritual eyes can clearly see its satanic. Wake up people Satan is a liar, a trickster, all the above and boy is he good at it. Having yall turn your trees down. I guess since yall wont turn your crosses upside down hes trying for something you would think would be funny and silly and not realize really what you are representing. Yall better wake up and see **** for what it is!

Sounds like another marketing scheme for Christmas. This time to cater toward those that may not want be Christians.
Either way a Christmas tree isn't necessary to celebrate, so why even care about silly trees.

you may want to verify objective a touch on the brink of Christmas, i believe they bought a ceiling mount very last year. I had a buddy that used to attempt this - he suggested their relations loved that the embellishes all hung "away" from the tree so that you may want to confirm them more effective perfect. it really is a neat theory.

It is not satanic. It is practical! It prevents small children and pets from climbing the tree.
