I'm not Christian (raised Lutheran; now a happy Goddess-worshipping Pagan)....but from my experiences, it seems like most Christians are kinda heavily stocked ALREADY on Bibles and similar readings....

But I've found a great gift-giving option (suitable for all holidays, and for all people of good will) by supporting special charities. Never heard of an animal shelter that had all the money (for spaying/neutering), pet food, towels it needed. Something like the Heifer Project is great, in terms of helping provide suitable animals worldwide....

How about "sponsoring" an older or disabled person/family in your community, for special help? My mom (may she have peace in Heaven) lived 1000 miles away from us....and it was tough for her, finding the occasional helper for stuff like---
Snow shoveling/snow blowing (you NEED a reliable person)
Leaf raking, weeding in the garden (the lawn service didn't prune or do any thing but cut and fertilize)
Picking up staple perishable groceries (milk, bread, etc.)---we used to stock the pantry, but lettuce doesn't keep too well....
Helping get the garden furniture in/out for the seasons.
"Small" home repairs (rattling windows, dripping faucets, replacing a doorknob, replacing battery on smoke alarm--needs a ladder/stepstool)

And these are the sorts of things that are almost IMPOSSIBLE to hire out....but that can make a HUGE difference in someone's day, making it possible for them to age in place and enjoy life.

Great question!

Presents I give are: Hams , turkey's baked cookies, and home made Grape jelly. Homemade bread, special cheeses, Homemade quilts, Childrens video's from the Christian Book Store. Special books for children. Christmas decorations for the tree from the Christian Book shop. Special dolls, that sing, Jesus Loves me . Beautiful jewelery. Knit hats that say Love.
Pillows with embroidered words, that say Jesus Loves me. Childrens blankets with Noah's Arch. Toys of the Arch. Donate money for food baskets. Help the needy by purchasing used, nice coats by washing them, and putting fabric softener in them to smell good. Mittens, Hats, Stockings, for children. Toilet paper, laundry detergent. Many of the needy can not afford soaps, and cleaning products. Diapers is another wonderful item. Even light bulbs. The poor can not even afford a needed light bulb. Give them rides to wherever the poor need to go. If the poor children have a small pet and cannot afford the food, purchase pet food. Donate new combs and brushes. Bake bannana Breads and cookies. And the list goes on and on. May God bless you too !!

I would say the best gift is just to be there... to pray with them, laugh with them, and show them how much you love them. So many people nowadays receive a lot of material presents, but one thing they lack is the affection and care of their family. Such a gift will last more than you can know.
Of course, it is nice to keep up the tradition of gift giving, which symbolizes the ultimate Gift given to us by our heavenly Father more than 2000 years ago. I would recommend some good Christian music (i.e. peaceful hymns, etc.). One thing I think your family would enjoy is a VeggieTales movie. They are a bunch of 3-D animated vegetables that give good, sound Christian morals in a way that is entertaining for adults and children alike.

There are no truly "Christian" gifts for Christmas because Christmas is not a Christian Holiday. It was not celebrated by the early Christians but was a pagan calendar event that Emperor Constantine adapted according to his new found Christianity in the 2nd or 3rd century AD. It had been a celebration worshiping the sun god Saturnalia and an ancient Persian god Mithra. There's no Christ in Christmas.
