Christmas is the darkest part of the year ,As well as often the coldest .
Add to this loneliness and illness as well as a sprinkling of the thought of Bills to pay in the new year ,You have a recipe for suicidal thoughts.

I've never heard that. Where did you get that information?

A holiday is only worth as much as you put into it. If a person insists on hating Christmas or being depressed about it, then of course they're not going to enjoy it.

Maybe because some people feel lonely and they dont have anything to do. Theres nothing to say or do or eat and it just feels real sad. Or some people had like resolutions to do something nice for themselves or somebody else and they had failed. Those are foolish reasons for suicide but some people dont think before they make an action.

Probably because christmas is a very family oriented holiday and it might remind people of passed away loved ones.

Not to mention christmas is an extremely stressful holiday. At least for me it is anyways.

Christmas is emphasised as being a time for family and friends, and I guess for those people who feel that they don't have anyone must be a really lonely time, when all their fears and worries become too much to bear.

Christmas for me is about my family. The only thing I can think of is that they have no family to turn too and see all these other people being happy and they cant take the guilt and depression anymore and kill themselves.

Christmas can cause depression because someone might have the money to get someone that they really care about a present that they would like to get. Money is a big factor that causes this

maybe more

people dont belive thier father christmas

This is too sad and is bringing down the christmas happiness. If people dont want to live in this world that is their right to end it.
