You could ask them what they need for the classroom - or ask someone at the PTA or school office if there are supplies that are needed. If you want something more (but not too) personal and you don't really know them at all, I think that gift cards are a good way to go, but cash is probably better (teachers don't get paid much, and they have to buy gifts too!).

-Gift cards to one of the following: restaurant, movie, bookstore, school supply store, local mall.

My favorite gift a student and parent gave me was a letter (they both wrote one) telling me how much of a difference I made in this child's life explaining what I did that made a difference and what made me stand out as a teacher that needed to be recognized. I read it whenever I get discouraged....

I hope you find an idea that suits your needs!

Have a GREAT day!

It wouldnt be a huge deal if it replaced right into a distinctive subject,. however the certainty you're his scholar and he's your instructor is faulty. It shows he has no barriers or administration over his movements. Hes meant to be professional no longer flirt with female pupils. If he cant administration his thoughts and how he feels basically think of what he thinks of young women. YUCK

Get them a gift card to a book store. Better yet, contact all the parents in the classroom(s) and get together to contribute a couple bucks and go in on a group gift card.

Simply put...Alcohol. We need it after teaching kids of any ages for long periods of time. Im only a trainee, but all my mentors agree with me. Nice wine is just great at christmas.

Honestly, It's not really necessary in middle school. Most people just buy for elementary school teachers only.

I'm a teacher - a special ornament is nice (I have a nice collection from past students), or a book.
