My boyfriend and I can't think of anything to get my mum for xmas, she doesn't need anything and she will be flying from the UK back to Australia the day after Christmas day so will not be able to carry anything much. Can you help think of something creative or unique?

This is my first christmas in my new home with my little one, we've got all the decorations and tree ready to go. Am dying to just put it all up, do you think it is too early or does it not matter? It's all so exciting when you have a kid :D

I'm not talking about some pagan holiday or observance a million years ago or whatever. I'm talking about Christmas. The birth of Christ. It's called Christmas for just that reason. For those that are atheist, why do you observe a day with such a name as Christmas? Why no Evolution-mas? Why no Atheist-mas? In the childrens secular world, Is Santa a bad guy because he only shows up and brings gifts at Christmas?

My family has always had the same tradition for christmas, driving around on christmas eve and going light looking. I live in whittier CA, near la...and i've been to altadena ranch and the bailan house but does anybody know where there are some great places to check out near me?

this is less of a question but a asking of kindness to the homeless. For the holiday season i thought i would share a little bit of kind giving back. Instead of seeing that homeless guy on the side of the street and giving him a dollar to contribute to his life lasting alchoal or drug abuse, Ive thought that a more kinder, inexpensive way to share some compasion is to give them McDonalds. Around this holiday season, me and some other people will be going to Mcdonalds and buying 20 dollars of the most Mcdonalds we can get. Then we will be driving around the city of various towns giving the homeless alittle bit of hope maybe or just alittle another chesseburger in his stomach. Whatever it maybe, I, and as i hope for the rest of America does, is chip in maybe a dollar and find someone needy of food and give it to them. They never asked to be in there position, whatever it maybe. Thank you and take deep consideration for this. A have a great holiday season.

I was wanting to get a gift for a boss I really like. She is into poker and is always competing. Therefore, I was thinking about getting her something poker related but I just don't know what. She already has chips, cards, etc.

We are on a tight budget this year, so give suggestions that are not overly costly, like WITHIN $50 USD, all we know is she loves to play bingo and already has a lot of bingo dabbers. Also she loves her 6 and 4 year old granddaughters...and spends lots of time with them. She likes baths, but she might have a lot of bubble bath liquids....help!

Usually the local Xmas giving programs sends her a letter to fill out on her childs likes and wants...but she didnt recieve anything this year...I feel bad and plan to buy the child a gift but I am hoping others can help...she is a single mom who is not on any type of public assistance. And I want to make the mother feel less stressed and make this child happy.

Compliations of different artists are ok, but I'd rather individual artists. (Try to avoid the usual ones, like Elvis, Bing Crosby...etc)

Xmas is only 4,1/2 weeks away .Is there a "right time" to get the christmas decoration out ?

Is it too early now, even though the shopping malls & stores started decorating in late September .

Basically, can I get my wreath on the door, without looking ridiculous for the neighbourhood ?
