Kids this age like game systems and gameboys so a sure bet would be a gift card towards the purchase of a new game. The games themselves cost $30 - 50.

While buying christmas gifts for him, you must consider his likings. If you don't know about his interests then video games and gaming consoles are safe bets. Give him a Sony PSP or a new video game. Most kids his age like to play action and racing games. I would suggest getting Need For Speed Carbon or WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007. You may also give your nephew a funny and unusual gift. A lightning reaction game or electronic drum sticks would be ideal Christmas gifts. Gift cards are also idea Christmas gifts, as he'll be able to choose his own christmas gifts accordingly.

You can find the lightning reaction game here: http://www.spilsbury.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=30001&storeId=10001&productId=5927&ref=dtfd_findgift&wt.mc_id=2591
and the electronic drum sticks here:

Good luck!

How about the book: How To Win Friends And Influence People, by Dr. Norman Peale. I read it when is was in my late 20's and wish I read it way sooner. It is easy to read, and gives good insights on dealing with people. I hope you will take a look.

if u could afford it, a PS3 would be loved. bb guns are in style if u live in an are where hunting is done..i do. sling shots with the nice metal pellets. halo video game...nba live video game...rockets(seriously, my cousins got some to play with, and they are fun! i was like 15...)...it all depends on what kind of money u have. a psp is awesome...ipod's are loved by all...any and all video games really....money's nice too...a bike...ooh a cell phone! or course, that's a parents job....i'd pick some kind of hunting gun for deer...some cool michael jordan shoes...gameboy stuff...
