Get gift certificates for Bath & Body($10) and or Starbucks($5).
Attach the cards w/certificates to small boxes of See's candy and you've done good for under 20 bucks each. Merry Christmas

You know, the best Christmas gift is a nice Christmas bonus (-:.
But, if you want to add a little something, fruit is always a nice touch. You can make a Christmas fruit basket quite easily, and for less than $10 each if you use baskets from the dollar store. Just don't scrimp on the quality of the fruit -- get the best you can, and just a few (like six or seven pieces of fruit). Apples are particularly Christmas-sy.
Bert's Bees also makes some fantastic sample cases full of goodies, but it really depends on the women you are working with. And their Significant Others -- the products smell great, but they do smell powerfully.

This gifts I have enjoyed the most from employers were chocolates, gift certificates for bookstores or movie rentals, and Christmas ornaments. I never have a use for those little candles in a jar, cute signs, or costume jewelry that is not my style, though I can never seem to part with any gift because I always think of the trouble someone went to to pick it out for me. Some consumable like sweets or gift certificates are usually better in my opinion because they do not require the recipient to find a place for another nick-nack.

If you are on a tight budget, go to the dollar tree and pick up baskets, get body wash, lotions, soap, nail polish, lipstick, picture frames, etc.,add some peppermint and and maybe some little ornament that you can get from a a candle holder or wreath. They also have the clear bags that you put your basket in and gather together and put a pretty bow on it. We do this at a lot of our Church functions and it really goes over well. It is not how much you pay for something, but that you give it from the heart. Good luck.

We all like bath and body type things: universal fragrances like vanilla, apple, berry, etc always work well.
Bath and Body Works had some affordable small collections that would work great in tiny little stockings for each lady with a candy or 2 from Sees or someplace like it.

My daughter gave Christmas bulbs, non electric, last year and the ladies loved them. It is a good item to be remembered by if you and the ladies should part. She chose to give them Hallmark. You can get them single or in packages of 6 and split them.

Take them out for lunch, or low-denomination gift cards for a cafe, deli or coffee shop.
