My Christmas Tree along with all of the other decorations, inside and out are a variety of colors. My theme is CHRISTMAS!! We each get a new ornament each year to add to the tree. There are ornaments from parents, grandparents and so on. The same way in and out side we get something new each year music box, snow globe just whatever we see that catches our eye. With these items we use multi colored lights. Merry Christmas!!

I guess you could say I like them to be all the same even though I can change mine day to day -My decorations for my tree are pink and purple - I know sounds ugly but they are light color and see through so when the lights change color, all the decorations look a different color -like if the lights are on red my tree looks red or on blue my tree looks blue -its kind of neat I can change my tree every day by putting the lights on a new color.
And I am going to put my village under the tree this year until its time to put out the gifts.

When my three daughters were little, they used to be in charge of the decorations. Their father and I were only the supplier. Then after they were all grown, married and had moved out of the house, we did the color theme thing for a few years. Then we got custody of our youngest daughters 2 children. We have had our little grandson since he was 3 months old and his sister since she came home from the NICU. He is now 3 and she is 2. We are back to doing the loud and gaudy thing again just to please them. The more lights and decorations the better. They love it and we love making their little faces light up.

well, my tree is green(like most are) with white lights, red bows, red balls then my husband has some blue toronto maple leafs balls on it too and just a few decorations I painted myself. I try to do the red and green as I like a traditional Christmas tree and decorations.

I have a snowflake themed tree and a traditional tree with an eclectic collection of ornaments, many Radko and antique, and suns, moons and stars.
The house is decorated with themed garlands, nutcrackers, musical instruments, Star Trek, and toys.
I have a large nutcracker collection I display throughout the house.
Why stick to one theme when you can have a bunch?!?!

I know it's not "trendy" but I like to use all the colors and bubble lights on my tree. I wish they still had tinsel!!!! To me an all white lighted tree is nice for a fancy restaurant, but does not differentiate for the holiday.

Yes, I 'm very theme oriented. My tree is in hunting, so I only decorate my tree with camo/hunting/lodge looking decor. and I wrap my presents in Camo wrapping paper or like brown paper (like you wrap stuff in to mail it... that kind of paper.) But it looks nice and everythng matches....

I just decorate with whatever my husband and I like. It is never anything fancy. I use alot of gold and burgandy with white lights on our tree, but we also have alot of other stuff on there. :)
