So we're doing secret santa in school and I got a girl I don't know and have never talked to and I have no idea what to buy her. I have absolutely no time to get to know her. All I know is that she's a senior in high school, like me. So what do seventeen year old girls like? I'm asking because even though I'm her age, I'm not an average seventeen year old girl so I don't know. The limit is $20, no gift cards are allowed and I can't do crafts or cook because I suck at it. Any suggestions?

These are some of the ideas i have (thanx to all that answered) to give my G.F. for the 12 Days of XMAS.

1st-1 ornament with both of our names on it

2nd-pair of earings/xmas sox/shoes?

3rd-3 free back rubs (she loves my back rubs!)

4th-2 pair of mittens with "i lo" on one, and "ve you" on the
other

5th-5 ring pops

6th-6line love poem (she loves poems)

7th- lucky # 7 lotto game

8th-a date to play crazy 8's, watch 8 crazy nights, and eat
pizza (so i can say she "ate" pizza (8 slices))

9th-$9 gift card to barnes & Noble

10th-Game of bowling (10 pins)

11th- CD with 11 favorite songs

12th dozen roses/chocolates

Every year I get involved in a charity drive for the needy. This year it is Toys for Tots. We have had an excellent response so far this year and it's still early!!!! I'm thinking about getting my older brother the new ipod shuffle. I know he has a ton of songs on itunes and I realize that he dosen't have an mp3 player. However, I think he may buy a mobile phone in the future that has an mp3 player. Do you still think it is a good idea to get one? In my opinion, I think it's better if he seperates phone from mp3 player because if he kept playing songs on his phone, the battery gets used up faster. Plus, I don't think he can store that much songs on a phone compared to a real mp3 player. Price wise, I'm willing to pay for it, although I think it's a bit too much from a 13 year old. What do you think?

I want my children to believe that there is a such thing as Santa Claus. There are some that I know (mostly from church) that believe I am doing them a disservice by letting them believe such a thing. I also let them know the true meaning of CHRISTmas first and foremost. whats the big deal, why should kids be grown-up so soon?

Why are parents trying to suck the fun out of everything? Isn't it a good thing to let your children have an imagination? Isn't Santa a symbol for Christmas. He stands for love and giving. What is so horrible about that. Can't we just let children be children for a while. Why are parent's trying to make their kids grow up so fast? What ever happened to some good old fashioned playing?

sometimes, I take for granted I have a day job, and get to come home in time for my kids,,,,,,,,and spend all night with them, and do what ever, make cookies, decorate the tree, sing carols, today we watched How The Grinch Stole Christmas,and THEN,,,,,,, IT'S ON CBS,,,,,,,,,, my kids looked at me, I looked at them and we just laughed because we payed for two late fees, because the night before we tried to watch it and we fell asleep,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and we could have watched it for free
