Every year I get involved in a charity drive for the needy. This year it is Toys for Tots. We have had an excellent response so far this year and it's still early!!!! Helping people is what the season is all about! There is few things that give me as much personal satisfaction as helping other on the holidays. - Lance

We have a family agreement that we only buy for the kids under 18 (or 21 if they're in college). Since that reduces my shopping list quite a lot, I try to spread around the money I don't spend in various Salvation Army kettles.
This year I was included in a departmental award and got money for it. I plan to donate half to an organization that will send care packages to the troops.
The building management where our company leases space has a giving tree with tags of different kids' wishes for Christmas. I didn't take a tag but instead looked at the different things kids were asking for, and I want to buy a batch of books and games, then let the office decide how to fill each child's wish.
You're right, it feels so good to know that you've done something to make another person feel some hope. I try to do this year-round. Thanks for a great question!

Hai Gentleman. i think i do not opt to mislead you it really is why i'm miserably announcing that i did not do some thing as such. What extra am i able to assert? I really have by no skill idea-about it! i do not understand why! Is it because i'm selfish? i do not understand. Actually helping others should be done all year around but people dont have the time nor the convenience to do so .At least if at christmas everybody did a good turn like you the world would be a happier place

i would really like to help out too, i would like to find some kind of childrens center, or sick childrens center and so on, and get their achievments, illness and/or problem and what they would like for christmas and send them a letter "from Santa" but i cant find out how to do that without having to pay for it.......doesnt make since huh? but i would like to do that more than anything....
