I'm thinking about getting my older brother the new ipod shuffle. I know he has a ton of songs on itunes and I realize that he dosen't have an mp3 player. However, I think he may buy a mobile phone in the future that has an mp3 player. Do you still think it is a good idea to get one? In my opinion, I think it's better if he seperates phone from mp3 player because if he kept playing songs on his phone, the battery gets used up faster. Plus, I don't think he can store that much songs on a phone compared to a real mp3 player. Price wise, I'm willing to pay for it, although I think it's a bit too much from a 13 year old. What do you think?

Price-wise for a 13 year old, that is a bit steep. But if you REALLY want to get it and CAN, then by all means, BUY IT and give it to him! I'm sure he'll love it, whether his cell has an MP3 player included in it or not. You sound like a great brother!

Well there are more advantages to having a MP3/iPod shuffle, as you said the battery on his phone would burn up faster, plus the better storage of the MP3/iPod shuffle, but he can take the player more places than the cell phone. If he's traveling with your parents on a road trip its easier to listen to a CD/MP3/iPod shuffle player without having to stop a song to answer a phone call. I don't think it's too much for a 13 year old to have an MP3/iPod shuffle player if at the age of 13 I had a CD player and a walkman. It's a good idea, because of long road trips he won't have songs skip on him or have to pause a song and answer one of his friends calls on the cell phone or waste the cell phone battery, just for songs.

We were unable to purchase any presents for everybody, which includes my toddlers (a at the same time as 12, 16 & 17). yet I really might want to assert that I did get carry of the perfect present interior the international, and that is the love of my kinfolk, acquaintances AND my toddlers. anybody has been so understanding! To be "honest" we tried to enable anybody do not ignore that we may be unable to purchase presents this 12 months. anybody became understanding, and doubtless the most fantastic situation is that my toddlers were more beneficial than understanding as well. We spent Christmas day at the same time only talking, eating, playing video games and having a astounding time. What extra perfect present ought to someone ask for?
