How did Santa get to get a sleigh with reindeers? We are two school boys having to research for info for Christams. Why do we celebrate Boxing Day.

I am a happy man. But I own't be happy if my irritating relatives come for Xmas. They have already told me they intend to, and I have told them I would rather swim in sewage. They don't believe me. They are intolerable. My aunt stinks of stale butter and my uncle harps on about gardening and hats. My mother eats in a strange way and my nephew is some sort of goth.
How can I tell them not to come and bother me, in a way that will still get me presents?

We usually open them all when we get up - but this year I've decided that we'll do things a bit different.

Stockings etc first thing - then proper presents after tea in the evening.

My reasons for this are entirely selfish - I am fed up with spending the day locating batteries and putting together exceptionally complicated toys etc - and it would also be nice to make the day "last longer".

What's your routine on the day?

My cat likes to climb up into the tree and knock off the ornaments. I have an artificial tree so the branches are all messed up after he does it. It's very annoying and I can't get him to stop. I spray him with water when I see him doing it, but he usually does it when I'm gone. I would put all of the gifts I've bought under the tree, but he likes to tear up paper and he would just ruin those too. He's a pretty big punk, and most things don't work on him. Any suggestions? lol
